The Lynn Young Scholarship Award: $2,500

The Lynn Young Scholarship was established in 2015 to help offset the cost of tuition for individuals who have been in the foster care system.

Requirements:

Application Deadline: August 1st, 2023

• Copy of birth certificate
• Letter stating why you feel you deserve this award
• Have been in foster care
• Be a high school graduate with a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Three (3) written references: ex. teacher, guidance counselor, religious leader
• Has volunteered or will volunteer with LOR for 5 hours
• Acceptance to the school of your choice
