VOLUNTEERS!
The main way MOR helps local at-risk youth and children in foster care is through our distribution center located in Columbia, SC. This is where we sort, store, pack and distribute all donations from the community for the children we are serving. We provide each referred child a “Care Kit” filled with two weeks’ worth of clothing, shoes, new socks & underwear, pajamas, and toiletries as well as school supplies, stuffed animals, and books.

MOR partners with many agencies and organizations who work together to provide helpful resources for children at critical times in their lives. We receive referrals from The Department of Social Services, Title I schools, counselors, social workers, hospitals, other non-profits, foster parents, and churches. MOR does not take referrals from biological parents.

What
Sorting through donated items, and packing Care Kits for the children we serve in the Midlands.
*Each day at MOR is a little different depending on our needs, so we ask that our volunteers remain flexible in the different tasks they may be assigned to perform.
Requirements
Volunteers must be 13 years of age or older and if between the ages of 13-15 must be accompanied by a guardian/chaperone.​​

Monday-Friday between
9:30 am - 3:30 pm
We schedule one volunteer group per day in a 2-hour time slot depending on the day.
9:30 - 11:30 am
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
1:30 - 3:30 pm
